Fairy House Building Contest
AUGUST 17 - 21: Build for fun, or enter our contest for the chance to win prizes! The contest is open for anyone to build a fairy house at the ºÚÁÏ¿Æ Nature Center. Winners for each age category will be selected by a panel of judges and awarded with a gift bag from the Nature Store. A crowd favorite from each category will receive a grand prize of a Private Experience – Animal Encounter.
Natural Wonders
Join us on a journey of discovery through the wonders of the natural world. Designed for families with young children, this short interactive program explores a range of engaging topics including animals of New England, Animal Engineers, and local habitats.
Predators of the Sky
Take flight with us for an unforgettable experience! We’ll show you the unique nature of some of the world’s most highly skilled predators – raptors!
Woodland Wildlife Walk
Come wander through the woods with us! Not only is ºÚÁÏ¿Æ home to dozens of exhibit birds, but our 2.5 miles of trails are teeming with a variety of wildlife. Learn to identify the plants that support our diverse fauna, keep your eyes out for signs of animal activity, and, if we’re lucky, perhaps we’ll spot some critters, too!
Raptor Feeding Time
Join our raptor care-givers for feeding time! Learn about the habits and history of each of the resident raptors at ºÚÁÏ¿Æ as you watch them enjoy their daily meal.
